LaMelo Ball helped off the court after injuring his ankle
LaMelo Ball seems to have twisted his right ankle after attempting a contested layup. It is the same right ankle that had sidelined him throughout half of last season.
After missing the rest of the season with an ankle injury, Charlotte Hornets' star point guard, LaMelo Ball, has injured his ankle again.

Ball initially landed on his left leg but then seems to have put too much weight on his right leg. Moments later, Banchero fell over him. While the sophomore forward got up, Ball remained lying on the floor. He was later helped off the court by the Hornets' medical staff.
Soon thereafter, Ball was ruled out of the game with an ankle injury.
Ball had already injured his right ankle before when he suffered a fracture last season that sidelined him for multiple months. The 22-year-old was fully ready with just weeks until the start of the training camp after suffering the injury in February 2023.
Head coach Steve Clifford did not provide any additional details in his post-game comments.
Despite having just five wins in fifteen matches, Ball has been averaging career-high numbers with 25.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 8.6 assists per game.
