St Jerome’s Laneway Festival has gone above and beyond with its 2025 lineup. Keeping brat summer alive, Charli XCX is headling the festival alongside emerging indie singer-songwriter Beabadoobee and American songstress Clairo.

Charli XCX has been teasing her Laneway performance over the past week with green brat-themed billboards and posters popping up around the country. Organisers have confirmed the ‘Apple’ and ‘360’ artist’s Laneway performances will be her only Aussie shows.

Also coming along for the ride are Scottish producer and DJ Barry Can't Swim, singer-songwriter Remi Wolf, alternative muso Eyedress and electro duo BICEP.

Neo-soul crooner Olivia Dean, hip hop duo Joey Valance & Bace and electro dynamo Hamdi are also making the trip Down Under for Laneway Festival 2025.

It’s not just international acts taking all the limelight, with Laneway once again compiling a juicy list of local talent, with pub favs Skegss, rock quartet Girl and Girl and DJ and producer RONA just three of the awesome Aussie acts on the bill.

Laneway Festival returns in February, kicking off in Auckland on Thursday, February 6 at Western Springs before crossing the ditch and setting up shop in Brisbane on Saturday, February 8 at Brisbane Showgrounds.

The festival then travels to Sydney’s Showgrounds on Sunday, February 9, Melbourne’s Flemington Park on Friday, February 14 and Adelaide’s gorgeous Bonython Park on Saturday, February 15, before the final Laneway Festival takes place in Perth at Wellington Square on Sunday, February 16.

Since its inception in 2005, St Jerome’s Laneway Festival has established itself as Australia’s premiere indie music event.

Despite having a couple of years off due to the pandemic, Laneway returned in 2023 with a bumper lineup that included Stormzy, Steve Lacy, RAYE, Dominic Fike, Angie McMahon, Faye Webster and more.

Speaking about the upcoming festival, Laneway Festival Programming Coordinator Ruby Miles says, “This has to be my favourite Laneway lineup we’ve ever put together – I’m such a fangirl of all of these artists! Having Charli xcx as our headliner is a dream come true, but the lineup's depth from gates open until gates close will make Laneway 2025 so special.”
