Where to Watch New Episodes of Lioness Season 2

Following an impressive, record-breaking viewership for its 2023 series premiere, season 2 of the Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman-starring series Lioness is scheduled to arrive on Paramount + on Sunday, October 27.

Saldaña will be reprising her role as Joe, a CIA operative leading the “Lioness” mission, wherein select agents are enlisted to befriend suspected terrorists’ wives and close female relatives in order to gain critical information on their target. Other returning members of the cast include Laysla de Oliveira (Locke & Key) as Cruz, last season’s tough-as-nails marine recruit, and Nicole Kidman as Kaitlyn Meade, a high-ranking yet jaded senior supervisor. Saldaña and Kidman are both executive producers of the series, helmed by show creator Taylor-Sheridan (Yellowstone). Morgan Freeman will return as Secretary of State, Edwin Mullins, and is expected to play a larger role this season.

Joining the cast will be newcomer Genesis Rodriguez (Hours) as Josephine “Josie” Carillo, a helicopter pilot and the latest recruit to the Lioness team, whose treacherous dispatch will be the central focus of this season. Meanwhile, Joe navigates an identity crisis and a disintegrating family life as she is forced to face the tremendous personal sacrifices she has had to make in dedicating herself to this career, and to her role in this mission.

Morgan Freeman’s voice characteristically bellows through the season 2 trailer, reminding audiences that in this game, “Nobody’s Innocent. Nobody.”

Is Lioness Season 2 Available to Stream?

The first two episodes of Lioness season 2 will be available on Paramount + at midnight PT/3 A.M. ET on October 27. The remaining six episodes will be released every Sunday through December 8.
