Listen Out Perth 2024: Artist Lithe disappears from Listen Out Perth set list and posts Instagram update

An Australian artist has disappeared from the Listen Out Perth set list and posted an Instagram update that made some fans furious.

Lithe was due to perform at the popular Aussie music festival on Saturday in Perth.

However, Listen Out posted: “Welcoming Aria-nominated Kobie Dee back to Listen Out. We’re not sure if Lithe is going to make it, but if he does we’re going to try and squeeze him in!”, leaving fans furious.

The Australian musician then posted a life update that did not address his disappearance from the Perth festival’s show times.

In his post, Lithe added a short video of Big Ben leaving fans wondering if he had chosen to go to London instead.

Fans were less than impressed that they missed out on the Perth performance.

“You showing up to Perth or...” one user wrote.

Another added: “Enjoyyyy bro while a dozen of your fans in Perth waittedddd.”

Some fans were more angry about the festival’s organisational skills.

“The biggest joke in Australian festival history,” one fan commented.

A second said: “Won’t be returning next year, Listen Out’s reputation needs serious work after this.”

“Perth deserves a refund atp,” a third added.

Multiple acts had already pulled out of the festival, including headline artist Tyla.

Perth fans who have attended the festival saw big names like 21 Savage, Skepta, and John Summit light up the stage.
