Watch: Ladies swoon and egos flare as the first hunky Bombshell ...

It's the four words our Love Island Australia singles had been waiting to hear. Yep you guessed it, "I got a text!"

In Episode 1, just as our 10 Islanders had settled into their happy couples and were getting to know each other things were about to get seriously shaken up.

"Islanders, the first bomb is about to drop and HE is coming in HOT," the text read. The announcement had the girls squealing and the boys quaking.

"I hope tonight's Bombshell is nothing that Hannah finds attractive," her partner Niko hoped.

Unfortunately Niko's prayers were not answered... in fact, it was quite the opposite.

Enter Bombshell Taylor.

Now you might recognise Taylor, who was a stand out star on Nine's adventure series The Summit earlier this year.

But he's swapped the hiking boots for boardshorts and he's not here to muck about.

"I'm not a player, I'm not a f--kboy, I'm a man and I'm going to show these other boys what a real man is," Taylor said.

The other lads watched Taylor's arrival from the balcony and instantly they felt nervous.

"He's tatted, jacked. He's like a Greek god," Kane said.

If they thought his looks were a threat just wait until they heard Taylor open his mouth.

Down by the Firepit the ladies were swooning as Taylor revealed he's a long-term relationship guy who understands women and can't wait to be a dad.

Tick! Tick! And tick!

Hannah, Xanthe, Em, Mimi and Eilisha all had their eyes firmly on Taylor and the consensus was he was highly sought after.

"He was just saying all the right things," Xanthe blushed. 

"Taylor knows what he wants and he knows who he is. Green flag!" Mimi gave her tick of approval.

It wasn't long until the boys got acquainted with Taylor and he was so charming that despite what they thought about him on the balcony, they found themselves liking Taylor too. 

That all changed when Taylor received his welcome gift – he got to ask any two girls of his choice for a kiss.

Taylor's approach was simple but effective. He picked the two girls closest to him Eilisha and Hannah.

It was a blow, especially for Niko who had to watch his partner Hannah kiss another guy – and let's be honest, nobody wants to see that.

It was a tough watch for Niko, but he wasn't about to bow out with the Islander issuing this warning for Taylor: "Definitely up for a competition, he's going to have to go through me if he wants to get to Hannah."

Things are certainly heating up on Love Island Australia and it's only the first episode!
