Disney+ shared a teaser video featuring all three actors on Instagram on Friday, with Cranston and Kaczmarek each shouting Malcolm’s name before Muniz, 39, appears and says, “I’m coming.”

“I have been waiting for this moment for 18 years,” Muniz shared. “Let’s find out where Malcolm and his family are now.”

The four-episode revival series is written and executive-produced by original series creator Linwood Boomer.

The series will follow Malcolm (Muniz) and his daughter when they are drawn back into the Wilkerson “family’s chaos when Hal (Cranston) and Lois (Kaczmarek) demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party.”

“Malcolm in the Middle” ran from 2000 to 2006, and also starred Christopher Masterson, Justin Berfield and Erik Per Sullivan as the other Wilkerson children.

Additional casting for the revival series has not yet been announced.

A release date for the new series was not immediately announced, but the original series is already available to stream on Disney+.
