We are very proud to see URM return as our new Major Partner for at least the next three years

Tony Mestrov Manly Warringah Sea Eagles CEO

“It is incredible to think that URM has been involved with the Sea Eagles for close to 30 years.

“When you think of long-term rugby league partnerships, URM is right up there now with some of the most recognised brands in the game.

“At the same time, I would like to acknowledge and thank the incredible team at PointsBet for all their great support as our Major Partner since 2022.

“We could not have achieved what we have without their dedication. We look forward to further discussions with them about their on-going involvement.”

In 29 years of partnership with the Sea Eagles, URM has seen five NRL Grand Finals, two NRL Premierships, and a World Club Challenge, as well as having naming rights to the club’s past seven Community Rounds.

URM Managing Director, Anthony Johnston, said the company was very honoured to return as the Club’s Major Partner.

Founded in 1971 under Johnston Waste, the URM Group has come a long way from its humble beginnings as a single garbage collection vehicle providing waste services to a small part of the Sydney community.

URM Environmental Services Pty Ltd was incorporated in 1994.

“For the past three years, URM has been a Premier Partner of the Sea Eagles and we have also been the front of jersey sponsor for Manly for several NRL Indigenous Rounds.

“When the opportunity arose to return as the Major Partner, we knew the time was right again to do this.

“Our partnership is built around our strong and active commitment to the community.

“Together with the Sea Eagles, we work tirelessly within the community, giving back through player visits and school programs, primarily aimed at educating young people on the importance of environmental sustainability in a fun and engaging way.”
