Margot Robbie Gives a Rare Look at Her Maternity Style in a Breezy ...

Margot Robbie enjoyed a pre-baby trip to Sardinia, Italy, where paparazzi got a rare look at her polished but relaxed maternity vacation style. The star was photographed getting lunch with her husband, Tom Ackerley, and friends on the island. She wore a black-and-white look, pairing a mostly-open oversized white blouse with a black bucket hat, pants, and sliders.

Robbie has spent most of her pregnancy out of the spotlight. But this isn’t her first major fashion moment since news of her and Ackerley expecting their first child came out in July. At Wimbledon that same month, she wore a draped, asymmetric white polka-dot dress by Alaïa.

The appearance came shortly after a source told People that Robbie and Ackerley had “wanted to start a family for quite some time.”

The insider said that “family means a lot to both of them, and they knew early on in their relationship being parents was something they really wanted. They’ve been keeping it under wraps for a while but are happy the news is out.”

It’s unclear whether Robbie will be making many more public appearances. After her Barbie awards show run ended earlier this year, the actress told Deadline she was planning to take a break from being on camera, at least.

“Everyone’s like, ‘Are you having a break?’” Robbie said in the January interview. “And I’m like, ‘You do know I’m a producer [with her production company LuckyChap], right? We don’t get a break.’”

She laughed and added, “The producing is 24/7, but on the acting side, this is the longest I haven’t acted on a set, because we finished Barbie in October of 2022. So, it’s already been more than a year since I was on set as an actor, and other than COVID, that’s the first time that’s ever happened.

“I also think everyone’s probably sick of the sight of me for now. I should probably disappear from screens for a while. Honestly, if I did another movie too soon, people would say, ‘Her again? We just did a whole summer with her. We’re over it.’ I don’t know what I’ll do next, but I hope it’s a little while away.”
