Megan Gale announces major comeback
Aussie icon Megan Gale has us feeling like it's the '00s again with her latest major news.
The homegrown model has announced she's returning as the face of David Jones over a decade since she parted ways with the brand in 2013.
Now the 49-year-old has signed on once again as an ambassador in a multi-year deal, helping to kick off the spring 2024 season as the cover star of the latest Jones issue.

"My journey with David Jones has been a remarkable one, and I look forward to starting this exciting new chapter with my fellow Friends and continuing to champion the innovation and excellence that defines this iconic brand," she said.

Gale stuns on the new 'Home Grown' themed cover in a gorgeously vibrant look photographed by Georges Antoni and shot on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
As part of the new spring collection, David Jones has added 60 new Australian and international brands added to its womenswear, menswear, footwear and accessories.

"As we enter a new era with Megan Gale and embrace a vibrant season ahead at David Jones, we celebrate not just her return, but the enduring connection she shares with our customers, many of whom have grown up with Megan as a beloved figure in their lives," he said.

While Gale stepped away from David Jones in an official capacity in 2013, she briefly returned just last year to help mark their 185th anniversary.
After a 15-year hiatus the model surprised onlookers when she closed David Jones AW2023 Runway at the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2023.
Speaking to Today after the memorable catwalk comeback, Gale admitted she had always wanted her return to be for something significant.
"Because it is such a milestone for [David Jones] and it's been probably that right kind of little hiatus from me not being on the catwalk. I think it all just aligns beautifully."
