Several of Fox League’s stars have revealed the interesting ways they have come up with their tips for Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup.
In the hours leading up to the race that stops the nation, everyone is scrambling to find a formula that will lead them to the winner, and NRL great Nathan Hindmarsh has gone into some deep mathematics to choose Sea King for the Cup.

The English import has been highly fancied after winning the Bendigo Cup recently but its run in country Victoria did not enter into Hindmarsh’s equations.
“What I did was added my kids ages together,” he said.
“18+17+15+8 = 58
“Then I divided that by 4 because that’s how many kids I have. 58 divided by 4 = 14.5
“I always average up which came to No.15 Sea King.”

“#9 Absurde - on speed last year.
