Cronulla let the kick-off go dead, and Munster scores

We are underway in Melbourne.

OH. And the Sharks have conceded a goalline drop-out.

Shakrs fullback Will Kennedy got the flight of the ball all wrong, and the Storm have a full set of six at the Cronulla try-line.

TRY. TRY. TRY.

Cameron Munster darts from dummy half and scores.

What is at stake in the qualifying final between Melbourne and Cronulla?

Like last night's qualifying final, the loser of this match will get a second chance.

The winner will host a preliminary final in a fortnight — the same reward Penrith earned from victory last night.

The loser of this match will host a semifinal against either the North Queensland Cowboys or Newcastle Knights next week.

The Cowboys and the Knights face off tonight in an elimination final.

Tipping the Sharks to beat the Storm in Melbourne … again

Hello Felicity.

The Sharks have done it once this season, so I think this game is going to be tight.

Luke Garner wants Melbourne to win this afternoon

Luke Garner was a star for the Panthers last night, scoring two tries in the qualifying final win.

He has joined ABC Sport and announced he would like to face Melbourne in the grand final, provided Penrith make it as well.

"They beat us twice this year … I think we can beat them," he said.

"It would be good to get one back this year."

Tyran Wishart is the most-improved player in the NRL this season and a vital part of Melbourne's premiership charge, but back home in Gerringong he's already a grand final hero.

Can Melbourne reply to the marker Penrith laid down?

I think the Storm are going to send the Panthers a message. Just play the GF now

- Brandon

G'day Brandon.

Thanks for joining the ABC Sport live blog.

The Panthers were on fire in the first half last night. They certainly produced some of their best footy against the Roosters.

I think Melbourne as minor premiers will be wanting to do the same thing this afternoon.

But remember — Cronulla beat the Storm in Melbourne earlier this season.
