Aussie sport reporter's heartbreaking final social post
Popular sport presenter Nathan Templeton’s final Instagram post shows just how tragic the Sunrise reporter’s sudden death is.
Australian sport has been left devastated by the death of the Channel 7 host, who tragically died, reportedly while walking his dog.
The Herald Sun first reported the 44-year-old father of two was found near Barwon River in Geelong on Monday evening after suffering a medical episode.
Templeton was a popular reporter on Seven’s Sunrise and was widely praised for his work across Seven’s AFL, tennis and Olympic swimming coverage.
It is understood he had retreated from the limelight over the past few years to deal with personal issues.
In his most recent social media posts, he shared pictures of his two sons Jack and James opening their Easter eggs.
“Favourite morning of the year,” he wrote alongside the picture a week ago.
His previous post came in February when sharing a photo ahead of the first day of the 2024 school year.
“Big day for Jack and James, Grade 1 and 3yo kinder,” he wrote.
Both posts have been flooded with tributes from fans and colleagues.
