Nicho Hynes

Sharks halfback Nicho Hynes is set to miss the next six to eight weeks after suffering a horror ankle injury at training on Monday afternoon.

Hynes was seen sporting a moon boot later in the day with scans confirming the star had suffered a syndesmosis injury.

Speaking to SEN on Tuesday morning, The Daily Telegraph’s David Riccio revealed more gruesome details around the star halfback’s injury, which is expected to keep him out until at least Round 24.

“There has never been a more sombre dressing room (than) after Nicho Hynes went down screaming about his ankle,” Riccio said.
