NEXTDC Secures Certification in the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data ...
NEXTDC, a leading digital infrastructure and data centre provider in Australia, today announced certification in the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center program.
With the certification, NEXTDC is qualified to support and guide Australian organisations through a range of digital infrastructure architectures designed to optimise NVIDIA artificial intelligence (AI) platforms.
Chief Customer and Commercial Officer David Dzienciol Stated:
“NEXTDC is investing in the ongoing delivery of AI data centres for every sector in Australia, including government, enterprise and, of course, our extensive ecosystem of partners, including global cloud providers. This certification with the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center program highlights our strategic focus for this important growth category, and we are delighted to work with NVIDIA to accelerate the development, design and deployment of our AI data centre infrastructure.”This NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center program certification unlocks access to a variety of NVIDIA infrastructure options that NEXTDC can use to enable its world-class AI data centres. Importantly, the NEXTDC AI data centre network now supports an extensive choice of AI technologies to deliver powerful solutions for advanced computing, whilst also addressing the many AI infrastructure challenges typically associated with facilities planning, high-density power distribution, and the need for innovative liquid-cooling solutions.
“As AI adoption grows, many organizations are eager to secure efficient infrastructure to run AI workloads, but may not want to build and maintain their own data centers,” said Tony Paikeday, senior director of AI systems at NVIDIA. “Through the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center program, NEXTDC offers enterprises a cost-effective solution that provides access to state-of-the-art facilities and comprehensive services to help enterprises rapidly scale AI initiatives across their organizations.”Importantly, AI and deep learning workloads produce unique demands on digital infrastructure and data center resources, requiring expert consideration, planning, and design from a power and cooling perspective. As a result of this certification, the strategic value of deployments powered by AI infrastructure such as the NVIDIA DGX platform can be accelerated with the NEXTDC network of AI data centers , which are AI-ready facilities complete with agile, adaptable, sustainable infrastructure that help meet customer requirements for higher power densities and innovative heat extraction
Dzienciol concluded by stating.
“In addition to this strategic certification, NEXTDC is very excited to be supporting NVIDIA’s latest GPU technology in combination with our AI data centres being classified as liquid-cooled ready. This unique capability will extend to supporting liquid-cooled platforms in addition to enabling cost-effective digital infrastructure for our customers to leverage sovereign AI at scale.”
