Olivia Rodrigo has spent the majority of 2024 on the road with her GUTS World Tour, but she's planning to take a little break after it's all over.

Speaking to Billboard after her most recent tour stop in the Philippines, which also happened to be her biggest concert to date, Olivia Rodrigo announced she will be taking some much-deserved time off after wrapping up the tour. “I’m definitely going to take a little vacation after this tour,” Rodrigo told Billboard. “I’m trying not to put too much pressure on anything right now.”

Rodrigo further opened up about her experience on the road, admitting it's been “overwhelming” but “in the best way.” She added: “Everyone’s energy is really inspiring and makes me want to bring my all every night. That being said, sometimes it can get very overstimulating. I’ve learned so much about how to take care of myself by being on the road. You have to prioritize rest and sleep and alone time, otherwise you start to go a little crazy.”

“The GUTS World Tour was my first-ever arena tour and I learned so much, not only about performing and taking care of myself, but about being a part of a team,” Rodrigo continued. “It was so much fun to have a little traveling tour family for so many months and I’m going to miss everyone dearly. The only thing I can think to do differently next time is to not overpack. My luggage is bursting at the seams!”

Rodrigo recently made headlines after announcing that all of the ticket sales from her show in the Philippines on October 5, 2024, would be donated to Jhpiego as part of her Fund 4 Good project. The star is already onto the next venue and on Australian soil, where she'll put on her last eight concerts of 2024 as part of her GUTS World Tour.

While in Australia, a portion of the proceeds from Rodrigo's concerts will support WESNET (Women's Services Network). “Wesnet provides support and specialist services to women and children experiencing domestic violence and envisions a future where all women and children live free of domestic and family violence and its consequences,” the singer wrote on her Instagram when announcing the partnership.
