Game over - Penrith win 42-12The end couldn’t have come quick enough for Souths. A 30-point loss was probably what they deserved. Penrith scored the final 42 points of the match. You can’t but feel for Damien Cook. Finishing his 200th match on the wrong end of a score like that is one thing - doing it at fullback is another.

More misery for SouthsThere were green shoots in view for Souths in the first 15 minutes. After that it has just kept on getting worse. I guess a miracle fix was too much to ask for, but it’s hard to say the exit of Jason Demetriou has seen any improvement. Penrith are without Nathan Cleary - and have not played well to boot - and they’ve still lapped their opponents. Just when you think enough’s enough - Taylan May scores. Penrith lead 42-12 after 78 minutes.
