Panthers vs Sea Eagles

The Panthers have secured a 32-22 win over the Sea Eagles on Sunday night, but it was the try-scoring ability of a pair of wingers that stole the show.

Manly flyer Tommy Talau crossed the white line four times and secured an eight-minute first-half hattrick to stun the Penrith outfit.

Meanwhile, Brian To’o responded with a first-half hattrick of his own in impressive fashion to go with a staggering statline.

The first try of the match came in the 11th minute through To’o, who crashed over on the left side of the field before Talau responded with his first.

His try in the 18th minute came against the run of play, shocking the Panthers before a points barrage ensued, scoring further tries in the 22nd and 26th minute.

However, it was To’o who hit back with two more of his own in the 32nd and 36th minute, leaving fans bewildered after witnessing a pair of first half hattricks.

Penrith flyer Sunia Turuva then got in on the action, scoring his first of the night after making a break from his own 40-metre line before going down for a tackle.

The ball then found its way back over to his wing to score, and three minutes later Liam Henry also got his name on the scoresheet.

Talau, once again, scored in the 62nd minute, sparking the Manly side’s comeback however Turuva once again found his way over the line.

To make sure every winger crossed, Jason Saab also scored in the 70th minute with an impressive effort to tip toe down the sideline and score.
The Panthers completed 37/38 sets in this clash in an impressive statistic.
