South Korean actor Park Min Jae has tragically passed away at the age of 32. According to his agency, Big Title, the rising star succumbed to cardiac arrest on November 29 while in China. The news of his untimely demise was shared publicly on December 2, leaving fans and the entertainment industry in shock.
“Park Min Jae, a talented actor who loved acting and always gave his best, has departed for heaven,” Big Title announced on social media. “Although we can no longer see him perform, we will proudly remember him as an actor of Big Title. May he rest in peace.”
Park’s younger brother also expressed his grief, saying, “My beloved brother has gone to rest. I hope as many people as possible can remember my brother.”
A wake in Park’s memory is being held at Seoul National University Hospital Funeral Hall, with his funeral scheduled for December 4.
Park Min Jae had appeared in several notable K-dramas, including Tomorrow, Little Women, Call It Love, The Korea-Khitan War, Mr. LEE, and Bo-ra! Deborah. While still building his career, he was known for his dedication and passion for acting.
Big Title CEO Hwang Ju Hye mourned his passing, saying, “Min Jae, there’s still so much we wanted to say and do together. I will never forget the name, Actor Park Min Jae.”
