Burton delivers the goods for Bulldogs

It’s getting pretty relentless for Canterbury out there.

Another goal-line drop-out, but Matt Burton comes up with the goods with a short drop-out that goes Canterbury’s way.

The Bulldogs need a bit of field possession to get them out of some trouble.

Something to watch out for - Mitch Moses has a groin issue, he’s been in back-field with the trainer to get it sorted.

It’s Parramatta on the board first, and the points come from new recruit Morgan Harper.

The former Sea Eagle scoops up a classy kick from Dylan Brown and plants it down just before the ball goes dead.

Taaffe has first fumble

Oh no Blake Taaffe. He didn’t have a great pre-season challenge, and he’s had a rough start to this season.

Bryce Cartwright and Will Penisini drive the Bulldogs fullback back towards his line, and Taaffe loses the ball on impact.

This will be an early test for the Bulldogs goal-line defence.

Kick-off at CommBank

The whistle is blown, and the game is under way.

Max King takes the first carry for the Bulldogs, who really have something to prove this season.

Parramatta enforcers are doing a good job at keeping the visitors in their half - I think we’re up for a very physical game.
