Patrick Kisnorbo departs Melbourne Victory for 'overseas opportunity ...
Melbourne Victory have announced head coach Patrick Kisnorbo has left the Isuzu UTE A-League club to “pursue an overseas opportunity”.
Kisnorbo departs with Victory third in the standings heading into Saturday night’s blockbuster derby against Melbourne City at AAMI Park, having only replaced Tony Popovic in June.
The 43-year-old former Melbourne City boss also guided Victory to the 2024 Australia Cup final after returning to the A-Leagues after a stint with French side Troyes.

Current assistant coach Arthur Diles will step up to lead the 2023-24 Grand Finalists.
“We are disappointed to see Patrick depart the Club so early in his expected journey with us, however Patrick has advised us that this is an opportunity he wanted to take for his own development as a coach,” said chairman John Dovaston.
