FORT WORTH, Texas — A day after being announced as the Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week, Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel was named the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback of the Week for his performance in Oregon's win over No. 2 Ohio State.

It is the fourth career National Quarterback of the Week honor for Gabriel, who earned the distinction twice at Oklahoma in 2023 and once for UCF in 2020. He is the first Big Ten quarterback to win the award this season.

Oregon's quarterback completed 23-of-34 passes for 341 yards and two touchdowns, and he ran for a key 27-yard touchdown that gave the Ducks a 29-28 lead in the fourth quarter.

Gabriel surpassed 300 passing yards in a game for the second time this season, and he has thrown multiple touchdowns in each of his first six games as a Duck.

On the season, Gabriel is No. 2 in the country with a 76.1 completion percentage while ranking tied for sixth in completions (153), ninth in passing yards per game (298.3), 12th in passer rating (169.27) and tied for 21st in passing touchdowns (13).
