“The upside is you get random people contacting you that you never thought would ever notice you,” Raygun told The Project.

“You know, and it’s not just, like, breakers that you’ve respected for a decade.

“It’s someone like Sir Richard Branson calling you to say that he enjoyed your performance and he thought that it was ‘plucky’ and ‘courageous’ and ‘fun’.

“And he would love to do something with me and have me on some cruises with Boy George. Like, what is life? I don’t know.”

Raygun quickly took up the offer, and her photos have now revealed the extent of Branson’s interest in the Australian viral sensation.

In a series of holiday photos posted by Raygun, Branson could be seen photobombing her and her husband before joining the pair for a posed shot.

Branson posted a compilation video of Raygun’s time on one of his cruise ships over the weekend.

“‘Breaking’ news with Raygun! Hats off to Raygun for being so bold and making people smile,” he wrote.

“Invited her and husband Sam on board and we had a blast. Proud to have them as new friends, she can go home with her head held high.”

The call from Branson was a rare positive in a sea of negative criticism.

Raygun was advised to stay off social media, but was aware of some of the outrage directed at her.

“I didn’t understand the scale of it,” she said.

“I did preview some comments and I was like, ‘Oh, no’, and this kind of sick feeling started coming out. I was like, ‘Oh, goodness! What has happened?’”

Raygun left comments open on her gallery and received plenty of support from her new horde of followers.
