Kylian Mbappé scored his second consecutive goal for Real Madrid, converting a penalty to seal a 2-0 victory in San Sebastián. He expressed that he is "feeling better with each game" and is working to build a "connection" with Brazilian teammate Vinícius to benefit the team.

"We knew it would be tough, and in the end, we won. We suffered a bit against a great team, but we’re going home with what we wanted, which is the victory. We need to keep this up because we have to win many games to reach our goals," Mbappé told Real Madrid TV.

He noted that he feels increasingly comfortable and understands what the team, coach, and his teammates need. "Every game I feel better, and I’m sure I’ll be even better on Tuesday for the start of the Champions League," he added.

Mbappé is looking forward to the upcoming European clash against Stuttgart and emphasized the importance of starting the Champions League, which now has a new format, on a high note. "It’s a very important competition. As I said from the first day, I came to Real Madrid to experience these kinds of nights. I’m very focused on winning and starting the Champions League well," he said.

He praised Vinícius, noting their efforts to develop a strong partnership. "We try to connect in games and training because we know we can help the team. Vinícius is an excellent player, and I’m very happy to play with him at Real Madrid."

Regarding penalties, Mbappé stated, "What matters is that all four penalties were goals. Who takes them is not important, as long as they go in," he concluded.
