Luka Modric—7.5: Put in a tremendous amount of work over a 90 minute shift. Gave the team the composure they lacked when playing out of the back. Finished the game with 3 key passes including a perfect free kick into the box that Rudiger latched on to but failed to score.
Fede Valverde—8: Once again is amongst the stand out performers. Played deeper in midfield but still found moments to break through lines with his ball carrying ability.
Arda Guler—6: Featured in the midfield three as an interior on the right side. One poor mistake inside the Madrid box that nearly led to a Kubo goal. Made amends in the final third as it was Arda’s shot that led to the hand ball and subsequent first penalty.
Brahim Diaz—7: Had to come off in the first half through injury but looked good while on the pitch. Played a threaded pass to Mbappe inside the box.
Vinicius Junior—6.5: Not at his best yet still managed a goal, via penalty, and drew the foul for the resulting second penalty which Mbappe dispatched.
Kylian Mbappé—7.5: Likely Mbappe’s best game yet in a Madrid shirt despite failing to score from open play. Moved across the front line and managed to pull off 3 shots despite narrow angles.

Lucas Vazquez—6: Played in midfield to provide extra defensive solidity to see out the game.
Rodrygo—5.5: Entered the match early on for a Brahim injury but failed to bring any meaningful impact to the game.
Endrick—N/A: 88th minute substitute for Kylian Mbappe.
