Actress Rebel Wilson cheers on Aussie players during banner day at United Cup

The famous tennis fan had a courtside view as Alex de Minaur toppled Alexander Zverev and sealed his ATP Top 10 breakthrough.

The Pitch Perfect and Bridesmaids star watched Ajla Tomljanovic go toe-to-toe with the resurgent Angelique Kerber, who saved match points to pull off a 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7) victory for Germany. Alex de Minaur soon got Team Australia back on track, taking down Alexander Zverev 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 to level the tie.

His victory also marked a milestone for Aussie tennis, as de Minaur’s career week—which included a stunner over world No. 1 Novak Djokovic—means he will become the first Aussie man in 18 years to break into the ATP Tour’s Top 10 rankings come Monday. The last Aussie to achieve the feat? None other than former No. 1 Lleyton Hewitt, Team Australia’s current United Cup coach.

"It’s what I’ve worked so hard for. It’s another milestone. But the job’s not done," De Minaur said. "I’m going to enjoy this Aussie summer, that’s for sure."
