Speaking post-match, Harry Grant rued small errors from his side that added up.
"[Lacking] possession, cheap penalties and cheap errors," he told Nine's Darren Lockyer.
"That's Origin, you can't slip up. When you do, your opposition takes chances and I think that was it [for us] tonight.
"We had a few opportunities: they defended well, we defended well but we missed a couple."
