Reindeer at Vermont farm prepare for takeoff
WEST CHARLESTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Reindeer at one Vermont farm are resting up and snacking on carrots before taking flight.
Our Sophia Thomas takes us to the Vermont Reindeer Farm in West Charleston, where Pauline Broe is prepping the legends to hit the sky on Christmas Eve.
Broe says the reindeer have been training to make sure Santa’s gets all the gifts delivered on time.
“We actually have a rock out in our pasture, kind of covered with snow now, that’s called Reindeer Rock and they have to learn to take off flight on there,” Broe explained.
If you want to meet the Christmas reindeer, you can book a visit for Dec. 27, Dec. 31 or Jan. 2.
If you keep your eyes peeled tonight, you may be able to catch a glimpse of them in the sky.
