An Emu Plains woman has admitted she’s barely slept a wink since discovering she scored $100,000 on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket.

The New South Wales resident purchased her top prize-winning $5 Instant Scratch-Its ticket from Lennox Newsagency, Shops 18 & 19, 219-249 Great Western Hwy, Emu Plains.

Speaking to an official from The Lott, the winning woman shared she was over the moon with her win and couldn’t wait to boost her retirement plans.

“Now I know it’s really true, I feel great!” she laughed.

“I’ve been freaking out, worried that it’s a mistake.

“I haven’t slept for nights. I’ve been so bloody shocked and excited!

“I don’t play very often. Every couple of weeks, I’ll buy a ticket or two.

“I might win $7 or $12. I won $75 once but that was years ago, so when I scratched $100,000, I was just in disbelief.

“We’re retired so it’s going to be a huge help! It’s just such relief really.

“We’re going on holiday today so after I do some washing and we’re all packed, we can finally let it sink in.

“Thank you so much!”
