Aussie cricket legend Shane Warne immortalised in special edition ...
Late Australian cricket legend Shane Warne has had a special edition version of the Monopoly board game dedicated to him - and his family say it could have been one of his proudest accomplishments.
His children, Jackson, Brooke and Summer Warne, today celebrated the news by unveiling a giant replica on the grounds of the Junction Oval in St Kilda, which was named after their dad.
"He has achieved lots of amazing things... But this would definitely be in his top five by saying 'Yep, I made it'," Brooke and Summer said.
Every aspect of the board is a tribute to Warne.
Instead of train stations, there's beloved cricket venues.
Baked beans are up for grabs in the chance and community chest cards and the properties have all become iconic moments.
Top square Mayfair was replaced by the Ball of the Century.
"It couldn't have finished on any other piece if I'm honest," Jackson said.
"If you thought of Dad's life and his achievements and most iconic moments and memories, everyone can universally agree on that one ball."
Beloved chef Bill Granger dies
Warne's father Keith and his brother Jason joined them at the unveiling and shared how the cricket great's competitive streak carried into games of his favourite board game.
"He'd go 'no, no no, if we don't finish now, we've gotta wake up before school and we'll finish before you go'," Jackson said.
"No one touches the board... No one misplaces anything... It stays in this one place and that's it... And if you were to go where the board is going or if you were going to the lounge room where the board was set up 'just no one touch it'," Brooke and Summer said.
About 23,000 copies of the special edition board have been created and all proceeds will go to the Shane Warne Legacy.
"I think this could be Dad's proudest moment having a Monopoly board. He'd just be so proud," Brooke and Summer said.
