A snake is lurking in this Queensland backyard. Can you spot it?

A photo of a Queensland backyard, with a snake lurking in frame, has stumped the community.

Snake Catchers Brisbane and Gold Coast shared the photo, encouraging people to “spot the snake”.

The one hint they gave was that the snake was not hidden in the fence.

Most people could not find the slithery visitor, with various screenshots shared in the comment section showing the wrong part of the photo circled.

“I can’t find it but now I really need to know,” one person said.

“Great, I’m not sleeping tonight,” another said.

“I need the answer!”

The snake can be found near the base of one of the trees.

“This coastal carpet python flawlessly utilised its camouflage abilities to blend into the garden,” the snake catcher said.

Commenters credited the snake for being so well hidden.

“Sneaky snakey,” one person said.
