Total solar eclipse visible from Antarctica and partially from Australia and South Africa, from December 4, 2021. Sky gazers in the southern tip of South America, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand can see partial phases of the eclipse. It may be noted that today's eclipse will not be visible from India. Last time an annular solar eclipse occurred on June 10, 2021. In India, this eclipse was visible only in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh. The Surya Grahan started at around 11:42 am and the annular eclipse occurred at around 3:30 pm and continued up to 4:52 pm. The partial eclipse ended at around 6:41 pm.
