England

Arsenal take on Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, 6am AEDT. It is a sign of their contrasting fortunes so far this season that Brighton currently sit four points clear of Arsenal, who are in unfamiliar territory in fifth.

Steph Catley, Caitlin Foord and Kyra Cooney-Cross will all be available for the Gunners. Charlie Rule will be hoping to make her first appearance post-injury for Brighton.

Manchester City host Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, 6.30am AEDT. City currently sit top of the table and will be looking to continue that form against Spurs. Any point for Tottenham would be a welcome one as they continue to push themselves away from the relegation threatened pack at the bottom of the table.

Clare Hunt and Charli Grant will be available for Tottenham, while Hayley Raso will be hoping to make her return from injury. Meanwhile, Mary Fowler and Alanna Kennedy will be available for Manchester City.

Liverpool will have the task of overcoming the defending champions when they take on Chelsea on Sunday, 11.30pm AEDT. The Blues currently have a perfect record of five wins from five but Liverpool will be no easybeats, continuing their good form from last season.

Teagan Micah made her return from injury to make Liverpool’s bench last week, and will be available this time out. Sam Kerr remains unavailable for Chelsea as she rehabilitates her ACL injury.

Everton travel to take on Crystal Palace on Monday, 1am AEDT. It’s an important game for both sides, but particularly Everton, who currently sit bottom of the table with no wins in six games.

Clare Wheeler will be available and is likely to line up in midfield for Evertonj.

West Ham will take on Leicester City on Monday, 2am AEDT. The Hammers are yet to win a match this season and will hope to achieve that feat against a Foxes team who only sit three points above them.

Katrina Gorry will be available and is likely to start in midfield for West Ham, while Courtney Nevin will be available for Leicester City.

Paris FC will host sixth-place Montpellier on Sunday, 7am AEDT. They’ll need to ensure that they continue to pick up wins to keep in touch with the top two of PSG and Lyon. Sarah Hunter will be available for Paris.

United States

The first round of NWSL play-offs gets underway this weekend.

On Sunday, 4am AEDT, KC Current hosts the North Carolina Courage. The Courage faces an uphill battle given their late-season form but in an elimination match, anything can occur. Cortnee Vine will be hoping to be available for the Courage.

The Portland Thorns will also be up against the odds when they take on Gotham FC on Monday, 11am AEDT. However, their victory last week against Angel City will fill them with confidence that they can advance to the next round.

BK Häcken marked the return of Aivi Luik on Tuesday morning with a 4-0 result and will be hoping to finish the season on a high when they travel to take on Brommapojkarna on Sunday, 12am AEDT. A point for Häcken will see them finish second, while defeat could see Hammarby overtake them.

Luik will be available once more for the final game of the season.

AIK Fotball take on IFK Norrköping on Sunday, 12am AEDT. AIK are now out of the relegation zone but three points could see them avoid a relegation play-off altogether, if Linköping FC were to lose.

Jada Whyman has been crucial between the sticks for AIK and will be available to continue her run on the weekend.

Kristianstads DFF will finish their season with a trip to take on Trelleborg on Sunday, 12am AEDT. Kristianstads are guaranteed to finish fourth – one place out of European qualification – regardless of result.

Netherlands
