State of Origin will head to Melbourne for the second instalment of the 2024 series.
The game will be the first time Origin will be hosted at the legendary stadium in six years with New South Wales claiming a win on their last visit there in 2018.
Game II in Victoria will be held on Wednesday, June 26 with the do-or-die clash following on from the opener in Sydney.

State of Origin 2024: Game II at the MCGThe last time Origin was held at the MCG, 87,122 fans flocked to the stadium to watch the Blues secure a 22-12 victory that kept the series alive six years ago.
NSW have made a habit out of beating their QLD counterparts at the 'G since their first clash there in 1994, with the Maroons winning on just one of their five visits to date.
That sole win came almost three decades ago when the Maroons secured a 20-12 result in the second game of the 1995 series.
This year, Michael Maguire promised a clean slate for his Blues side after taking over from Brad Fittler following two successive series losses against Billy Slater's outfit.
A new era appeared to be in the offing with Maguire overlooking former skipper James Tedesco in favour of Dylan Edwards.
However, on the eve of the opening match, the Penrith fullback pulled up lame after a training run with Maguire sending out an SOS to the champion No.1.
Meanwhile, Slater opted to snub David Fifita despite the state struggling with an injury crisis in their forward pack with Tino Fa’asuamaleaui, Tom Gilbert and Tom Flegler all sidelined.
