Psychic bulldog tips Blues to win State of Origin decider

Queensland is gearing up to take on NSW tonight in what's sure to be a nail-biting State of Origin decider.

But while the mighty Maroons might have a home-ground advantage for game three, an Aussie pooch who has gone viral with an 80 per cent success rate is tipping the Blues to take home the trophy.

Gnocchi the bulldog was put to the test this morning live in the Today studio and there was no question who she was picking to win.

"Oh Karlos, she likes you," Sarah Abo told her co-host as Gnocchi sniffed around him.

Gnocchi's humans set up two sheets of paper: one for the Blues and another for the Maroons, each sign with a colour-matched balloon in front of it.

Gnocchi is shown both balloons before and after they have been blown up and she is then left to choose which one she wants to play with.

The method has helped her owners in their respective footy tipping comps, scoring the majority of wins during this year's NRL season.

So without any hesitation, Gnocchi went straight for the blue balloon, predicting NSW will win.

Alex Cullen and Brooke Boney were cheering, but their co-host Karl was less than impressed.

"It's okay, Karlos, it's all right - are you okay?" Sarah tried to console the pouting Queenslander.
