Stevie Nicks isn’t known as one of the more prolific musicians from her generation. She was involved in some truly massive hits and albums for decades, both as a member of Fleetwood Mac and then on her own, but these days, she’s largely focused on her past material.

Her somewhat sparse release schedule means that whenever she does share anything new, people pay attention. Nicks’ fans quickly latched onto her latest single, “The Lighthouse,” and they turned the cut into a quick smash in the U.S.

“The Lighthouse” debuts on a pair of Billboard charts this frame. The single brings Nicks back to the highest tier on one of the two tallies it reaches, and it’s another big win on the second roster.

Nicks debuts “The Lighthouse” at No. 5 on the Rock Digital Song Sales chart. The tune marks her fifth solo top 10 hit on Billboard’s list of the bestselling rock-only tracks in the nation.

Somewhat surprisingly, it hasn’t been very long since Nicks last collected a top 10 smash on the rock sales ranking. In the spring of 2023, she joined Gorillaz on their tune “Oil,” which spent one week at No. 8 on the chart.

“The Lighthouse” also reaches the all-genre Digital Song Sales roster. On that even more competitive chart, Nicks starts her latest offering at No. 17. Luminate reports that in its first tracking period, the single sold a little more than 3,100 copies throughout the U.S.

Nicks earns her fourth solo placement on the Digital Song Sales chart this week. “The Lighthouse” is her third-highest-rising appearance, and it marks her first new win on the tally since “For What It’s Worth” peaked at No. 42 in 2022. Since then, Billboard has shortened the list, as it now features just 25 spaces.

“The Lighthouse” starts its time on the Rock Digital Song Sales roster as the second-loftiest debut. It comes in behind only Timcast and Phil Labonte’s “Coming Home,” which is new at No. 2. Over on the all-style Digital Song Sales list, Nicks introduces her single behind fellow new arrivals from Carrie Underwood and Cody Johnson, The Weeknd and Playboi Carti, and the aforementioned Timcast and Labonte.
