Blanchard signs Aaron Cameron for enduros
Cameron recently tested BRT Mustang
24-year-old second in Super2 standings
Aaron Cameron has become the latest Dunlop Series driver to secure an enduro co-drive, with the rising star signed by the Blanchard Racing Team alongside Aaron Love.
Love and Cameron will share the #3 CoolDrive Ford Mustang at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 and Repco Bathurst 1000.
With the addition of Cameron, BRT has completed its enduro line-up, with Jack Perkins previously announced alongside James Courtney in the sister #7 Snowy River Caravans Ford.
"I am thrilled to join BRT as co-driver for the 2024 Supercars endurance season,” 24-year-old Cameron said.
“The opportunity to work with an emerging team and showcase my skills with another young guy in Aaron Love is very exciting.
“I look forward to contributing to the team's success on the track."
Cameron is currently second in the Super2 standings, is a previous champion in S5000 and also contended for the TCR Australia title. In 2018, Cameron became the Australian Kart Champion in KZ2 while driving for Courtney's kart team.
Team Co-Principal Tim Blanchard added: "We are delighted to welcome Aaron Cameron to BRT.
“Aaron's outstanding performances during our evaluation days at the end of last season and earlier this year have left a strong impression on us.
“Alongside his great form in Super2, where he currently holds second place in the championship, Aaron's impressive achievements across various categories and his evident racing talent make him a valuable asset to our team.
“His experience and winning attitude align perfectly with our team's goals, and we are confident that he will make a significant impact alongside Aaron Love."
Cameron joins Super2 rivals Kai Allen (Dick Johnson Racing), Cameron McLeod (PremiAir Nulon Racing), Cameron Crick (Matt Stone Racing), Cooper Murray (Triple Eight wildcard), Matt Chahda and Brad Vaughan (Chahda wildcard) on the enduro grid.
The Dunlop Series resumes this weekend in Townsville.
