Taking in Sale, Bendigo and Ballarat across August 12 to 14, the regional Victorian tour backed by Hino Australia brought some of the biggest stars of the sport to markets packed with passionate enthusiasts.

More than 500 guests came along to the evenings featuring V8 Sleuth’s Aaron Noonan and five-time Bathurst 1000 winner Garth Tander.

Fellow five-time Bathurst 1000 winner Steve Richards, Supercars Hall of Famer Neil Crompton and 2017 Bathurst 1000 winner David Reynolds joined the duo in Sale, Bendigo and Ballarat respectively.

The casual laid back nights saw the drivers at their best and the guests thoroughly entertained by a variety of stories from their careers – from both on and off the track.

“The Hino Supercars Tour has been a smashing success,” says V8 Sleuth’s Aaron Noonan.

“There’s a massive amount of people in regional centres who are fans of racing and these nights really bring the stars to these places that don’t have a race in their area.

“Many of our guests were first timers to one of our V8 Sleuth events and all commented on how relaxed the evenings were and the different insight they gained into our guests.

“The casual atmosphere helped bring out stories from our guests that they had never heard before.

“Anytime you can get Neil Crompton doing an impression of Dame Edna Everage and the other boys telling stories they’ve never told in public before, you’ve got a great night out!”

Thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes were won by guests across the three nights, including a range of corporate hospitality packages to the Saturday and Sunday of next month’s Sandown 500 in Melbourne and Team 18 model cars courtesy of Hino Australia.
