Dozens of flights have been cancelled at a major airport throwing Christmas travel plans into chaos.
At least 27 flights have already been cancelled at Sydney Airport on Christmas Day, including an international flight from Seoul and a trip to Ho Chi Minh City.
The cancelled flights arriving and departing Sydney include ten from Virgin Australia, six Qantas flights, and three from Jetstar.
Some smaller regional airlines have also been impacted.
The cancellations are a knock-on effect from the bad weather on Sunday, with no operational issues at the airport on Christmas.

The cancellations come after the airport was battered by wild storms that caused major disruptions to flights on Sunday.
Sydney Airport recorded 91.2mm of rain in the 24 hours to 9am on Monday, making it the wettest December day for the area in 53 years.
About 20 Qantas flights were delayed or diverted to Melbourne or Canberra on Christmas Eve.

'Flights are currently arriving and departing, however some earlier flights were affected, with a number of arriving services delayed,' he said.
