Sydney Trains are experiencing major delays this morning due to a man on the tracks at Redfern Station.

'Allow extra travel time due to a person near the tracks at Redfern,' a spokesperson for Sydney Trains said.

'Stops may change at short notice, and services may be delayed. Please listen for announcements and check information screens and transport apps before boarding trains.'

The incident is affecting the T8, T9, T3, T2, and T1 lines.

Earlier this morning, trains were stopped between Hornsby and Berowra due to an incident requiring emergency services at Mount Colah.

Trains have since resumed but are not stopping at Mount Colah.
