Sydney Trains services are experiencing delays due to protected industrial action which has resumed across the network today.

Passengers travelling on the South Coast Line are currently impacted as trains are not running between Wollongong and Bomaderry in both directions.

Passengers are urged to delay non-essential travel if possible or consider alternative transport options.

A very limited number of replacement buses are being organised.

Delays on the South Coast Line are expected to impact the morning peak.

Passengers are also warned to expect delays and cancellations across the Sydney Trains, Intercity and NSW TrainLink services from Friday.

Sydney Trains again apologises to our passengers for the disruption, and thanks everybody for their understanding as staff work to minimise the impacts of this protected industrial action.

Passengers should plan ahead and check the latest updates before making their journey and allow extra travel time.

We are working through the full impact of the protected industrial action and will update passengers as soon as possible of any potential disruption to services.
