How to watch The Bear season 2
One of the best shows of the past year is back for a second season, with restaurant drama The Bear season two now streaming in the US.
The acclaimed series follows young fine dining chef Carmy who returns home to Chicago to run his family's sandwich shop after the death of his older brother, only to contend with a rundown kitchen, left behind debts and disorganised staff.
The Bear season two will have 10 episodes in total, which is two more than the first season.

How to watch The Bear season 2 in the UKThe Bear is available to stream on Disney+ in the UK, but we'll have to wait a little longer to see season two. The UK will get new episodes of The Bear on Wednesday, July 19 on Disney+, which is a month later than the US, where it drops on June 22.
If you want to watch the first season or get prepared for season two, you can sign up to Disney+ for £7.99 a month, or £79.90 for an entire year, essentially giving you two months free if you pay annually.
Disney+ hasn't had free trials for a while unfortunately, but you may be able to save money if your mobile network provider is O2, as it offers six months of Disney+ free for upgrading and new customers. If you're with O2 but aren't looking to upgrade, you can add Disney+ to your plan as an Extra and get £2 off of your monthly bill.

How to watch The Bear season 2 in the USIn the US The Bear is available on FX and streaming service Hulu, with all 10 episodes of season two now available to stream after releasing on June 22, 2023.
You can sign up for a Hulu ad-supported plan for $7.99 a month, or $79.99 a year, or their plan with no ads for $14.99 a month. Hulu also offers a Hulu, Live TV, Disney+ and ESPN+ plan for $69.99 a month with ads, or $82.99 without.

At the end of season one we saw Chicago sandwich shop The Beef being transformed into the show's namesake The Bear, after Carmy discovered his brother hid money in a cache of tinned tomatoes.
It looks like we'll see the team start fresh in season two with a new, rebranded restaurant that looks more fine dining than beef sandwiches, with deadlines and opening dates fast approaching.
In a recently released trailer, we see Carmy and Sydney interviewing for new staff, as well as Carmy bumping into a woman from his past.

Shameless star Jeremy Allen White returns as Carmy for the second season, with fellow The Bear staff Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), Marcus (Lionel Boyce), Tina (Liza Colón-Zayas) and Ebraheim (Edwin Lee Gibson) also returning to the restaurant.
Season two will also see Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad star Bob Odenkirk join the award-winning show for an undisclosed role, while Winning Time's Molly Gordon joins the cast as a key recurring character.
The first season saw guest stars Jon Bernthal (The Punisher) and Joel McHale (Community) make an appearance, but it remains to be seen if they will have a presence in the second season.
The Bear is available now on FX Networks and Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the UK. Season 2 is now available on Hulu in the US and releases July 19 on Disney+ in the UK.
