The Block Auction 2024: Let's talk prices and take a look at the highlights from the big day!
It's been one of the most drama-filled seasons of The Block and in true Block style the drama has continued right up until the final hammer on auction day!
In a Block first Adrian Portelli has purchased all five properties, dropping a cool $15million on the day! Portelli stunned the crowd when he revealed, post-auction, that he had bought every home on the show, either directly or via his secret buyer’s agent. Portelli has however confirmed that this would be his last Block auction and would not be returning for next season's auction.
But it was the sister’s that stole the show, selling their house for $3.5 million, a whopping $1,550,000 over reserve!
With a combined total of $5.43 million in winnings, this year’s contestants secured the highest amount in the history of The Block. Over its 20 seasons the show has now awarded an incredible $39,627,139.63 in winnings.
