Trinity athletes have won 23 medals, including 10 gold, at the NSW All Schools Championships.

Riley Death (7We) produced a double-gold effort in winning the 12 Years long jump and triple jump, as did Jozef Cluff (10Ar) in the 16 Years discus 1.5kg and shot put 5kg.

Hussein Choker (10He) set an Australian record in the 16 Years 200m T38 classification and Pat McMahon (8Du) set a NSW All Schools meet record in the 14 Years 2000m steeplechase.

Other gold medals went to Thomas Blackman (9Du) in the 15 Years javelin 700g, Will Jenkins (10Hi) in the 16 Years javelin 700g, Mason McGroder (10WH) in the 16 Years long jump, and Joshua O’Connell (11Ar) in the 17 Years 1500m.

Nathan Jones (8Mu) missed out on gold but set a School record in the 14 Years 800m.

Logan Toohey (11Ke), meanwhile, was part of the NSW CIS U18 touch football team that won the national youth title in Coffs Harbour, defeating Queensland secondary schools in the grand final 5-4.

Trinity cricketers got the summer season underway with a win for the seconds against Waverley and  losses for the firsts, 10As and 9As ahead of the first full round of sport next weekend.

Thomas Blackman (9Du) took 4/46 and Tom Bermingham (11Mu) made an undefeated 90 for the firsts, while Aidan Lee captured 3/14 for the 10As.
