Signing off

That’ll be all from us on the blog this morning. Tottenham fans, I hope your day improves...

Stay tuned for more great football coverage from this masthead, including a match report from the King Power Stadium, as well as plenty more Ange content later in the week.

A cheeky plug: I have written a book about Ange Postecoglou, titled Angeball: The Definitive Biography of Ange Postecoglou, and the first extract from it will be published this weekend, right here, via Good Weekend.

Stay tuned for that.

Cheers for your company. All the best.

FULL-TIME: It’s a draw

Indeed: that is that.

It finishes in a 1-1 draw - a very valuable point for Leicester City but a disappointing return for Tottenham Hotspur, who were easily the better side and could have been multiple goals up quite early.

They played well, Spurs. But they don’t give you prizes for aesthetics in football. You’ve got to stick the ball in the net and that’s where things fell apart this morning. A painfully familiar feeling for Tottenham fans.

Richarlison goes close

Last chance of the game here, you’d imagine: free kick for Spurs after a foul on Dejan Kulusevski.

Lucas Bergvall with the delivery from the right-hand flank. He finds a target! But Richarlison thumps his header wide when he needed to just guide it home.

That, surely, will be that.

Nine minutes of stoppage time to come!

It’s very, very tense - and Vicario has just saved Tottenham’s blushes again, pushing wide a header from Stephy Mavididi in the first minute of stoppage time.

Spurs have made two more changes - Djed Spence and Richarlison are on for Son Heung-min and Pedro Porro.

Injury stoppage has favoured Spurs

The lengthy stoppage has clearly favoured Tottenham. All of that momentum the home side had is gone, and they look like they’re digging in to keep it at 1-1. Meanwhile, Spurs are on the front foot again, but still can’t quite find the killer instinct in front of goal.

Another sub now for Leicester: Kasey McAteer on, Bobby Reid off. McAteer’s first touch his a header on a free kick that loops over the bar.

Four subs for Tottenham

Ange Postecoglou is ringing the changes - four at once. New signings Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall coming on with Dejan Kulusevski and Timo Werner, replacing Brennan Johnson, James Maddison, Pape Sarr and Rodrigo Bentancur.

The Bentancur sub won’t count as one of Tottenham’s five permitted changes because it’s a concussion substitution. It looks like Spurs have changed shape, too, and will now play a 4-1-4-1 formation.

Meanwhile, two changes for Leicester City: Jamie Vardy and Facundo Buonanotte off, Boubakary Soumare and Stephy Mavididi on.

Concern for Rodrigo Bentancur

A stretcher has come onto the field. It looks like Rodrigo Bentancur suffered some form of head injury during a corner kick for Tottenham and as soon as he went down, there was immediate concern from his teammates.

Fingers crossed it’s not too bad - the camera hasn’t panned to Bentancur or shown a replay of the incident so it’s difficult to know, although that’s usually not a great sign...

Update: Pleasingly, Bentancur is now sitting up. But there’s been a lengthy delay and it’s not over yet.

Huge let-off for Spurs

Woah!

Nearly 2-1 to Leicester after a sweeping move that puts Jamie Vardy one-on-one with Gugliemo Vicario - fortunately for Spurs, Vicario manages to make a save.

This is intense!

Spurs looking a bit Spursy...

You can see a bit of nervousness creeping into Tottenham players now. They should have been at least three goals up but now it’s 1-1, the away fans have found their voice and Leicester’s players are feeling very confident.

Huge test for the remainder of this game. When will Ange look to the bench for an injection of freshness?
