Tottenham vs Fulham live: Latest score as Harry Kane nets opener from Sergio Reguilon cross
That first half was all about unshackling the Tottenham full-backs.
Spurs have looked a bit more open but Serge Aurier and Sergio Reguilon have been able to bomb on constantly and create chances.
Aurier has carved out at least four decent opportunities, while Reguilon has combined some excellent defending with that perfect, curling cross for Kane to head in off the post, adding to the Spaniard's growing collection of fine assists.
Tanguy Ndombele is terrifying Fulham every time he gets on the ball in what is almost a free role behind Kane. Spurs need to get the ball to him more often.
Moussa Sissoko playing up high as a right winger is providing plenty of energy down the right if not the end product and Spurs look better when he's allowing Aurier to overlap and covering in behind him.
Fulham have had a couple of moments when they could have done better in and around the box but mostly it's been a case of Areola keeping Tottenham at bay at the other end.
Spurs need to keep pushing forward in the second half, they've got the talent on the bench to enhance their efforts, because we've seen what happens if they attempt to sit on a one-goal lead.
