If you’re planning to book a holiday next year November 28 could be one of the best days of 2023 to get flights, accommodation and car rentals sorted.

While it’s still not at well-known in Australia as Black Friday, the Tuesday after the Cyber Weekend is known as “Travel Tuesday” where a number of airlines and travel-related booking websites slash their prices to help travellers pay for their next trip.

With flights, particularly for European summer in 2024, already at sky high levels it wouldn’t hurt to double-check if your favourite retailer is offering any discounts today.

Booking.com has continued its Black Friday deals until November 29 giving jet-setters up to 30 per cent of their next stay if they book before Wednesday and lock in accommodation before the end of 2024.

Meanwhile booking websites Costsaver, Trafalgar and Insight Vacations are offering savings of up to 15 per cent off if you book before December 5.

If you’re thinking about locking in a Contiki tour for next year then book by November 30 and save up to 25 per cent off on 64 trips across six continents.

Low-cost carrier Jetstar is offering travellers discounts on one-way travel while Virgin Australia has extended its Black Friday offering until the end of November 28 with sales on 35 destinations.

Scoot is offering flights to popular destinations including Vietnam, the Philippines and Singapore for under $250. Travellers looking to make the most of the sale will be able to book from Tuesday November 27 10am until November 28 11:59pm.

RedBalloon are offering a huge 25 per cent off select experiences and unforgettable gifts, from intimate couple’s breakfasts and wine tastings to soaring the skies in a hot air balloon.

These offers will be available until 11.59pm on December 25.
