Trevor Lawrence's favorite receiver might be Chargers cornerback Asante Samuel Jr.
Lawrence made his playoff debut Saturday night, the first of potentially many postseason games for the Jaguars quarterback. The organization should hope that the future starts are better than the effort he has put forth thus far.
Lawrence threw four interceptions in the first half, three of them to Samuel. He had an entire half to set the NFL record for most INTs thrown in a playoff game.
The second-year passer threw his second, third and fourth picks of the game to Samuel. The first one pinballed to Drue Tranquill on the second play of the game.

The NFL record for interceptions thrown in a playoff game is six, last achieved by the Packers' Brett Favre in 2002. Prior to the NFL-AFL merger, three other quarterbacks threw six picks in a playoff game: Norm Van Brocklin (Rams, 1955), Bobby Layne (Lions, 1954) and Frank Filchock (Giants, 1946).
Lawrence entered his last drive of the half with 0.0 passer rating. He did, however, throw a touchdown pass on that series to cut LA's lead to 27-7 at halftime.
Adding insult to injury for Jacksonville was yet another turnover, though not at the hands of Lawrence. A Los Angeles punt bounced off the helmet of Jacksonville special teamer Chris Claybrooks and the Chargers recovered. LA later kicked a field goal to extend its lead.
