Voting has officially opened for triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2024. You can vote at the triple j website or the triple j app for the tracks and artists that have soundtracked your year.
Doja Cat, No 1 on triple j’s 2023 Hottest 100, the first woman of colour and female rapper to do so.
The 2024 Hottest Weekend begins on Friday January 24, from 12pm local time, with Double J reliving the Hottest 100 of 2004.
On Saturday January 25 the main event begins, the countdown of triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2024, live from 12pm AEDT. Then, on Monday 27 January from 10am you can hear the tracks that just missed the final cut as we play out triple j’s Hottest 200 (200-101) of 2024.
Last year’s countdown had 2.35 million votes, 35 Hottest 100 debuts with five of them from triple j Unearthed. G Flip set a new record with seven entries in the top 100, Kylie Minogue had a phoenix like return with the longest gap between entries (29 years), and Hilltop Hoods now hold the record for the most entries across countdowns (24 songs).

This 31st edition of the Hottest 100, triple j is teaming up with We Are Mobilise as this year’s charity partner. Best known for their work alongside endurance-running legend Nedd Brockman, Mobilise aims to unite Australia in ending homelessness.
Grab a Hottest 100 t-shirt for $45 and cover a night of housing for someone doing it tough through Mobilise’s Kickstarter program. Kickstarter pays for people to enter housing or stay in their current house and avoid homelessness – a challenge for many people across the country, particularly during a cost-of-living crisis. The more donations and t-shirts sold, more people have a roof over their heads.
