Defending champions Real Madrid face Manchester City while Italian giants AC Milan and Inter will clash in the UCL semis. Watch live in India!

The UEFA Champions League 2022-23 semi-finals, scheduled to be played between May 10 to 18, will be a clash of European football’s heavyweights.

Reigning UCL champions Real Madrid will face off against English Premier League giants Manchester City while bitter Italian rivals - AC Milan and Inter Milan - will square off in semi-final fixtures.

All UCL semi-final matches will be live streamed in India.

The Real Madrid vs Manchester City clash will be a repeat of last year’s semi-final clash, which the Spanish giants won in thrilling fashion. Manchester City went into the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu with a 4-3 advantage and seemed destined for the final with a 1-0 lead. 

However, a stoppage time brace by Rodrygo and a late strike from Karim Benzema flipped the script on its head and powered Los Blancos into the final, in which they beat Liverpool to secure their 14th UEFA Champions League title.

However, with Erling Haaland, who has scored 51 goals in 46 matches across all competitions this season, in their ranks, Man City will be a much bigger threat for Real Madrid this year.

Real Madrid will host the Cityzens in the first leg on Wednesday, May 10. Pep Guardiola’s side, who are leading the EPL title race and are looking to win a treble (EPL, FA Cup and UCL) this season, will welcome the reigning champions to the Etihad on May 18 for the second leg.

Meanwhile, the other semi-final fixture will see two Italian rivals, AC Milan and Inter Milan, battle for a place in the final scheduled in Istanbul, Turkey. 

The two clubs share 10 UCL titles between them (seven for AC Milan and three for Inter) but the Italian giants have struggled in recent years.     

Inter Milan are the last Italian club to win the UEFA Champions League trophy, having beaten Bayern Munich for the 2009-10 title. AC Milan last tasted success in Europe back in 2007.  

Both the legs in the AC Milan vs Inter Milan fixture will be played at the iconic San Siro Stadium. 

In the Italian League standings, Inter Milan are currently placed fourth with 63 points from 34 matches while AC Milan are fifth with 61 points from 34 matches.
