NMA - UCL MD-13 Rate My Team - PPQ

The final match-day is upon us.

I didn’t have a great set of semifinal games, but I’m still happy with my season overall.

I have one final trick up my sleeve, as I’ve saved my Limitless Chip until now. This wasn’t always the strategy but I never had a week where I felt I needed to use it. So I’m left with it now.

UCL - Match Day 13

I think I have a good chance to move up across leagues, since I won’t be wasting points on transfers. I’m able to grab top players across both teams without a worry of money or transfer limits.

The question then becomes to I favor one team or go for a balanced approach. As you can see, I’m opting now for leaning heavily into favored Real Madrid.

I’m not sold yet on Toni Kroos as he hasn’t earned as much as other players. Certainly, I’ll be waiting on final lineups. I could bring in Brahim Diaz in that spot. I may also, grab a third Real defender there for Kroos, then adjust in other places. But the rest of the lineup should stay as in, unless there are surprises.

I’m also considering which Dortmund players to start. I have to go with at least three of my eleven. Mats Hummels will keep his spot, as he’s been a solid player throughout the competition. Currently I’m going with the midfielders, but there are cases to be made for any of the players on my bench.

Lastly, I’m pretty sure I’m staying with Vinny Jr as my captain. I’ve highly considered Bellingham here too, but Vinny has been impressive as the competition has moved into the final stages. I expect he’ll step up again.
